From Matt

Notes:

  • Demo stations:
  • Do an Xbox party like last year
  • Are 3 Xboxes enough?
  • Do we have the ability to use the LCD screens?
  • Do we have consoles available?
  • What games are available?
  • Have Windows 7 running on projectors in the side rooms to give people not interested in Xbox something to talk about.
  • Maybe some Media Center demos?
  • Have a MS Surface demo area
  • Zune
  • Follow up with the Zune team given the new product launch
  • Have a sponsor area like with SharePoint Saturday
  • Who are the available sponsors?
  • Do we have access to the MSFT facility?
  • Food
  • Who is covering the food costs?
  • What are we ordering
  • Which other user groups in the area do we need to reach out to?
  • User group summit?
  • Get Cliff - INETA membership mentor involved
  • Hit up Cheyenne on Atlanta User Groups web site
  • What day do we want to target?
  • Monday night?
  • Saturday afternoon?
  • Send out a poll to the constituents.
  • December 7th is the likely candidate
