SharePoint 1,2,3! - Level 200 - Next Week!

Tonight, I spent most of the evening with Matt transitioning some of the Level 200 material for the SharePoint 1,2,3! Hands on Lab to him.  I will be out of town next week and will not be able to help present so we needed to get that done.

As we were going thru the material we were experienceing some "technical difficulties".  One that stands out in particular is when we were trying to view a list in datasheet view.  We had Excel installed and spent a good 10 minutes or so wondering why we could not access this view.  Well, as it turns out, this features only works with Office 2003 Pro and up and I had installed Office Standard while building the vpc this time around.  It makes me wonder if all the "Office" integration features are only available with Office 2003 Pro or only this particular one.  More research is required, that's for sure.

All that said, the Level 200 presentation is Monday at the Microsoft campus in Alpharetta and the Hands on Lab is happening at the Devry campus in Alpharetta on Tuesday.  Even though there is lots of space at the Devry facilty, we encourage you to register so thay we can get an accurate headcout for food/swag.
