Electrical cord short livens up the morning
Yesterday morning, as I was plugging in the power brick for my external hard drive, the cord shorted out and blew itself apart. There was a sizzle, a significant spark, and smoke. Classic. The end which plugs into the power brick just blew itself off! Luckily, the power brick was OK and the $7 replacement cord from Radio Shack works just fine.
