Not only did I just get 2 free tickets to the YellowCard concert (which will be great, even if it is an outdoor concert in 97 degree heat), I just got this e-mail from the Sales & Marketing Coordinator of TechNet and MSDN Magazine,
"CONGRATULATIONS!! You have won the TechNet Magazine and Winternals sweepstakes! As a reminder, your prize includes an Xbox 360 and a $400 Amazon Gift Certificate brought to you by Winternals."
When I was at TechEd, I entered every single contest to win an Xbox360. Apparently I struck gold with one of them!
Another perk of my job. One of the people in the marketing department walks into my office and says "You're a big YellowCard fan, right?" and hands me 2 tickets to tomorrow night's concert!
